George Y. Sawicki, AIA + Joseph S. Tarella, AIA are pleased to announce that effective May 1, 2009 Andrew Yoon Choi and Ian Gregory Scrivner have become Associates of SawickiTarella Architecture+Design, P.C.

STAD had just begun a new multi-story NYC interior project for Liz Claiborne. The project includes office space for the parent company itself as well as offices and showroom space for Juicy Couture, one of their retail brands.

Bvlgari, the luxury Italian jewelry brand who STAD has worked with for the past four years, has begun two new projects with us for 2009. The first is in City Center, Las Vegas and the second in Northpark, Dallas.

STAD has been selected to create the first US prototype building for this devout Japanese sect in Brooklyn, NY. Viewed as one of many simple houses for peace and brotherhood that will help spread their message throughout the world, the new metal and glass structure will provide a soothing place of sanctuary in a busy world. The warm neutral colors and primary forms help provide character for the two story structure yet do not compete with the primary symbolic message for the congregation.
